Psoriasis At-Home Research Study
Location: Watertown, MA
Compensation: $100
Length: 30 MINUTES
The goal of this research is to allow researchers to enhance our understanding of psoriasis, in support of developing new diagnostic and treatment options for patients living with this condition.
You may quality if you:
- Are 18 to 85 years of age
- Are diagnosed with psoriasis and have been for at least 6 months
- Have a moderate-severe psoriasis diagnosis
- Live within 1.5 hours of Watertown, MA
You may not qualify if you:
- Are diagnosed with pustular psoriasis
- Are currently taking or have taken any of the following treatments in the past 6 months at the time of screening: : IL-12/23, IL-17 (ustekinumab, secukinumab, tildrakizumab, ixekizumab, or guselkumab) and/or Rituximab
- Have taken any of the following necrosis factor inhibitor(s) in the past 2 months at the time of screening: etanercept, adalimumab, infliximab, and/or certolizumab
- Have taken any of the following medications in the past 3 months at the time of screening: natalizumab, alemtuzumab, abatacept, and/or visilizumab
- Have taken any of the following TYK2 inhibitors within the past 4 weeks at the time of screening: deucravacitinib, VTX958, and/or GLPG3667
- Have taken any systemic treatment within the past 4 weeks at the time of screening that could affect psoriasis (including oral, intravenous, intraarticular, intrathecal, intramuscular, or intralesional corticosteroids, oral retinoids, immunosuppressive/immunomodulating medication, methotrexate, cyclosporine, oral JAK inhibitors, or apremilast)

Yes. However, to participate in most studies, you will need to provide proof of your diagnosis. Even if you are not currently seeing a physician, you can still sign an authorization for Medical Record Release from your former physician that can serve as proof of diagnosis. Previous medical records can serve as proof of diagnosis.
We may ask you to sign a Release of Medical Records so that we can provide researchers with the data they need to conduct as comprehensive of a study as possible. Your de-identified medical information will help translate laboratory results from collected samples into clinical information that may be used to develop new therapies and/or diagnostics.
No. We collect blood and other samples from donors in order to provide scientists with quality samples for their research. We do not perform diagnostic tests.
