Human CD8+ T Cells are purified from peripheral blood of IRB-consented donors clinically diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes (T1D). CD8+ cytotoxic T lymphocytes are key mediators of autoimmune beta-cell destruction and antigen-specific immune activation in T1D pathogenesis. These cells support investigations into cytotoxic immune mechanisms, immune tolerance breakdown, and therapeutic strategies targeting autoimmune diabetes. Available cryopreserved, these cells provide high viability and consistent functional performance for in vitro assays and molecular profiling.
