Progressive familial intrahepatic cholestasis (PFIC) is a group of rare genetic liver disorders caused by mutations in bile acid transport genes (ATP8B1, ABCB11, ABCB4), leading to impaired bile flow. Sanguine collects fresh whole blood from IRB-consented donors with a clinically confirmed PFIC diagnosis for hepatology and genetic disease research.
