Our Allergy Serum is sourced from IRB-consented donors with a clinically confirmed allergy diagnosis. IgE: What Makes Allergy Serum Useful
Type I allergy is IgE-mediated, and serum is where that IgE is measurable — which makes allergy serum the primary material for allergen diagnostics and immunotherapy research rather than a surrogate. Available characterisation includes:
- Total IgE — quantified in IU/mL where tested
- Allergen-specific IgE (sIgE) — specified to your allergen of interest, with class or kU/L values where available
- Defined titre ranges — high-titre donors for positive controls, or samples selected to a target concentration window for assay calibration
